Happy Orange

Link to Final Video

For my final project, I decided to play with fruits and show their true emotions. In this case, a cheerful yellow banana was turning brown. Find out how Happy Orange stepped in and saved the day!

Harmony Vs Discord

The colors chosen on the second image gives it a more calm, peaceful image while the top image makes her look like she's having a bad dream or she's ill.

Transparency Animation

For the animation of this project, I had created two different GIFs. In the top one, the petals falls off one by one and disappears with other petals. In the second GIF, the flower spins as the leaves/petals circle around the flower.  I may or may not make changes to the animations.

Harmonious and Balanced Color Groups/Color Control

For me the color control chart was much easier to complete and I can see how color control works. I had a little more difficult time completing the Harmonious and Balannced Color Groups towards the end with the Triadic color group.

Project 3

One as Two

The blue appear to be lighter with the purple while the blue looks a little darker with the yellow-green.

Two as One

Here, the orange-red makes the darker orange appear to be the same color as the lighter orange with a yellow-green background.

Simultaneous Contrast

This chart was pretty helpful since it did help me see that when one color is surrounded by another, it changes the differences of the color.

Monochromatic Hue Painting

For this project, I've chosen blue for my monochromatic painting. I avoided warm colors like red, orange, and yellow because this color closely represent my picture of a lightbulb. Blue, a cool color, on the other hand is the opposite of what a lightbulb should be. Also, the blue gives a different kind of feel than the warm colors.

Color Wheel and Value Scale

Finally completed this. I hope everything is right!

Advancing and Receding Color/ Simultaneous Contrast

"One cannot focus perfectly on all hues at the same time."

This chart demonstrate how yellow green and purple succeed in having a vibrating edge.

Munsell Chart

This was actually pretty fun. It's almost like putting together a puzzle.
I definitely did not enjoy constantly looping the tape :(
